CCTV is highly versatile system offering live images through remote viewing applications, the ability to playback footage from weeks or even months ago or just simply to monitor things of importance such as dials on a machine or live stock in a barn. Through the use of IP networks the camera’s are able to be completely isolated from the recorder unit, allowing for monitoring over long distances.

Systems range from traditional Infrared cameras offering night images at ranges up to and beyond 50 meters, to the ColorVu range offered by HikVision that utilises smart analytical software to take a night image and produce a colour image. Moving targets can be easily tracked with Pan, Tilt and Zoom cameras, be it vehicles or cattle the PTZ cameras are able to facilitate the user to monitor activity in great detail with the x25 and x32 zoom camera lens.

Remote monitoring allows the user to view the system from their phone, tablet or PC (Windows recommended for optimal use) on which they will get similar functionality to that of the recorder unit itself. Features range from PTZ control, snapshot and video recording directly to phone and access to the recorded files. Naturally internet speeds can be a limiting factor, however with clever use of camera settings we are typically able to get some form of remote viewing available.
